Kids & Youth Programs

The Seedlings Nursery

Off the Entryway at Cross and Crown is a nursery for parents to take small children who need to get away – whether in worship, Bible study or some other event at church.  If during worship, the nursery has a window into the sanctuary and audio from the worship service, so parents can continue to worship.  It is located on your left as you come in the front doors or on your right as you exit the sanctuary. This room is not staffed and is open so parents can use as they need.

Tots/Kids Ministry

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me,” (Matthew 19:14) and at Cross & Crown we want to help kids connect to Jesus.

We have two main programs for children. Kids Time and Kids Church. Children have age groupings to learn with others in a similar learning level.

Kids Time (Bible Study Time)

Kids Time is a class based learning for kids held Sept – May on Sundays from 10:10-11:50 between services

Seedling – 1 or 2 y/o children who are ready for a class can join the Sprouts
Sprouts – age 3 to Kindergarten
Shoots – 1st grade to 5th grade

Register your child here (coming soon)

Kids Church

Kids Church is offered during the 2nd half of Contemporary Service.  Families start together in worship for singing and prayers. Partway through Pastor dismisses children 3 y/o to 5th grade (Sprouts and Shoots) to Kids Church. Here they have a Bible Story and message on their level, prayers, songs and crafts. Kids check in prior to worship at the welcome center. Parents should pick up their children from Kids Church (located in the Fellowship Hall) after church is over.

Special Events

Through the year we may do special events like Movie Nights, VBS, etc.

Kids Time (Bible Study Time)

Kids Time for the Youth is held between services on Sunday from 10:10-11:50

  • Radiate – Middle School: 6- 8th
  • Fusion – High School: 9-12th grade

Youth Confirmation

We offer youth confirmation classes for middle schoolers in 7th and 8th grade.  This year we are adding 6th grade to group so they can get a jump start on learning. If a child has not attended confirmation and is in High School, they are welcome to the class. Classes start in the fall.

Special Events

In the fall the youth plan events and outings they would like to do during the year.
